Singapore Airlines won't be flying the A380 any time soon. All of them are currently in storage.

In the past (before Covid) the route saw a flurry of flights throughout the day and Singapore Airlines even sent its A380 on this relatively short 4 hour trip. Most short haul aircraft are perfectly capable of making the journey, however it is almost predominantly flown by wide body aircraft. This is not ideal from a carbon footprint point of view and would be far better served with a smaller more efficient plane type. Below you will see the list of types that currently fly the route. We are including for A380 for comparison purposes.
